Palak Paneer (Spinach and cottage cheese)

Health Tips:
Spinach as a green leafy vegetable is rich in Iron content which helps in maintaining your haemoglobin level. It helps you give that blush on your cheeks :)
It's also a very good source of antioxidant which is a possible way to prevent age related, degenerative diseases such as Cancer, Heart disease, Cataracts, Immune dysfunction, Alzheimer's etc.
Apart from this it is also having vitamins and minerals which are beneficial for health.
Inspite of having good effect people with thyroid problems like Hypothyroidism or goiter should avoid eating spinach or you can consume in small quantities as spinach has something called as goitrogens which inhibit thyroid function by blocking the usage of iodine by thyroid. and iodine is necessary for proper thyroid function.
Cottage cheese is 2nd main ingredient in this recipe which is again rich in calcium and protein. It is the best cheese from all others as it is low in calories, and also low on carb and the protein in cottage cheese or paneer is a slow digesting protein hence keeps you full for longer time.
But overall this recipe is delicious. Me, being Hypothyroid love to eat it once a while though. Its yummy and I am sure you will enjoy making it, just dont overcook the spinach or it will loose most of its nutrients.
